Just to briefly clarify my purpose

Dear reader,
Before I begin, I think it is important that I say that this blog is in no way a commentary on society, the media, materialism, or anything of the sort. In fact, it is not meant to be a commentary at all. I'm not trying to change the world or even the way people think; after all, there is enough film, music, and literature that strive to do just that. I don't claim that anything that I say on here will be revolutionary, but my only hope is that through reading my blog, someone will take something away from it or be moved by it in some way, even if just for a moment. I am a student of life just like all of you, and I hope that you will accompany me on this crazy and unpredictable journey and learn with me.
